Shaleah Lawrence
A huge congratulations to Shaleah Lawrence, who took out the second year of the Innovate Hawke’s Bay accelerator programme. Shaleah has built her skincare business, Earthwoven https://earthwoven.co.nz/, from her passion for skincare, science, and sustainability. From her own challenging experience with troubled skin and a lack of solutions, the youngest entrant in the programme developed her beautifully presented skincare range. With a strong business foundation already established, just two years into her journey Shaleah will benefit from the $5,000 prize to support further development of her business.
We also congratulate the other prize-winner, Melissa Eames, who has turned her own personal journey into a fabulous social enterprise supporting women to escape from abusive relationships. Melissa will receive a 6 month tenancy at The Hive co-working space in Hastings, where she will enjoy a supportive environment with great networking.
